The XC9235A18CMR-G is optimized for use as a voltage regulator in personal computers, servers, industrial control systems, medical electronics, portable medical devices, networking devices and other equipment that require a high degree of EMC performance.Working PrincipleThe XC9235A18CMR-G employs a synchronous switching architecture to provide excellent voltage regulation and low EMI. The regulator uses advanced Frequency Modulation (FM) to precisely regulate the output voltage. With the FM technology, the feedback voltage is adjusted to its desired level with a constant loop gain and an adjustable positive-going ramp wave. This allows the regulator to maintain a desired output voltage with minimal loop settling time and excellent load transient response.At the same time, the XC9235A18CMR-G employs a switching frequency of up to 350kHz, allowing the regulator to switch at higher frequencies and therefore reduce the required size and cost of the external components.
