The XCR3064XL-7CP56I is a high-end programmable logic device within the families of Complex Programmable Logic Devices (CPLDs) developed by Xilinx. CPLDs are produced using smaller and larger metal-oxide-semiconductor field-effect transistor (MOSFET) technology. Depending on the family of devices, the logic blocks of a CPLD can contain up to several hundred thousands of logic elements, supporting multiple functions and operations, such as those of sequential circuits and combinatorial logic, at speeds of up to several hundred megahertz.

Working Principle

The XCR3064XL-7CP56I CPLD contains 16 macrocells and uses a single logic block array. Each logic block includes four function generators and four programmable registers. The XCR3064XL-7CP56I makes use of advanced reprogrammable logic and its huge amount of memory to adapt its logic structure dynamically.
