Working principleThe XF2W-4515-1AE relies on a low mated height of 0.9mm which offers a compact design able to meet the needs of many engineering applications. The stainless steel crimp contact pins are either pressed or metal stamped into infinite slender contacts that have been grouped together to guarantee strength and good electrical/mechanical performance. The slider and plunger locks are fitted at the exterior edges and are available in molded-in or post-molding styles. The slide locks are designed to allow for a wide range of mating cycles. The connector body is made from UL94V-0 rated thermoplastic resin materials. The XF2W-4515-1AE is capable of providing up to 5.0A current rated and 3-all contacts are rated for a UL746C flammability standard. The XF2W-4515-1AE also has an operating temperature range between -25 and 85 deg C and is rated up to 0.75mmAQ cable build-bend radius.ConclusionThe XF2W-4515-1AE FFC, FPC (Flat Flexible) Connector series provides customers with an effective, low cost solution for repetitive shorting applications.
