Data acquisition (DAQ) is the process of measuring real-world physical conditions like temperature, voltage, and current with a computer. At the heart of any DAQ system is the Analog Front End (AFE) which performs signal conditioning and other functions, converting the physical conditions into digital signals that can be understood by the DAQ system. The XRD98L23ACD-F is an AFE for industrial automation, sensing, and SCADA system-level applications.
The XRD98L23ACD-F can be used to measure temperature, temperature difference, voltage, and current, with a wide range of applications due to its programmable gain, settling time, input channels and other features. The XRD98L23ACD-F also has an onboard A/D converter allowing it to measure both electric signals and temperature.
