The XTH9-SI-128 RF Transceiver module is a compact, integrated solution for enabling high-speed data communications in a broad range of applications. It integrates many of the required components for a wireless link, providing a simple, cost-effective, and reliable way to connect devices at distances up to hundreds of meters. The module is designed for use in two-way communication scenarios with 8-bit data over a Secure Wireless Network. It is also capable of working with 802.15.4 and ZigBee networks.

The XTH9-SI-128 operates in the ISM (Industrial, Scientific and Medical) band between 868 and 870 MHz. It has a power output of up to 10 dBm and a sensitivity of -97 dBm. It is a transceiver module with a range of up to 500 m when used with the correct antenna. The module also features an external antenna with an RP-SMA connector, which is ideal for custom applications. It also contains an 8-bit A/D converter with built-in sleep timing. It has a maximum data rate of up to 250 kbps.

The RF transceiver module is based on the XTH9-SI-128 Application Specific Integrated Circuit (ASIC). It integrates four components; the RF Transceiver, the Modem, the RISC Core, and the Analog Front End. The RF Transceiver performs the physical layer operations, including transmission of data, turning-on/off of the amplifier, and setting the output power. The Modem is responsible for encoding and decoding the data stream received by the RF Transceiver. The RISC Core handles the control and protocol layers for the module and is also responsible for implementing the required wireless network. The Analog Front End provides an interface for the application layer, including Digital I/O, ADC, and DAC, as well as data rate and frequency adjustments, amongst other features.

The XTH9-SI-128 module features an SPI interface for configuration. This interface can be used to control various parameters of the module, such as data rate, frequencies, output power, modulation format, and sleep mode. It allows for data transfer of up to 256 bytes of data at a time and is capable of supporting standard and custom data transmission protocols. Additionally, the module can be connected to external antennas with different gains, making it suitable for applications with limited access to antennas.
