The construction of each LED segment is a dual in-line package (DIP) drive with 6 pins in order to plug into the module and the PCB circuit board. The pins of each LED segment are illuminated with the positive voltage applied and the anode pin grounded for the OFF state.When operating the XZFABBA10C, the PCB sends drive signals to different LED segments so that desired characters or numbers could be formed. The display is driven by a multiplexing approach where the active row and column pins can be switched on/off as needed. This switches the rows and columns of the display with the same rate to produce bright display at a low power cost.The brightness of XZFABBA10C LED module is usually controlled with a driver circuit. The current flowing through the LEDs and the amount of power the driver consumes can be adjusted with the trimming potentiometer.
