The YAS505E is a fully programmable, bi-directional, multi-function AC-DC regulation and conversion module designed for a variety of applications. It is suitable for a wide range of AC input voltages from 48 to 230VAC and up to a frequency range of 400 Hz. It provides a DC output supply from 0-320VDC, at a maximum current of 500A. The module starts by rectifying the incoming AC power into DC power. The rectified DC power then passes through a high-frequency switch mode power supply (SMPS) converter, which converts the incoming power into three-phase AC at a higher frequency. This high-frequency AC power is then regulated by an AC regulator and passed through a transformer driving a high-frequency switch capable of delivering a highly efficient and continuous regulated DC output.The YAS505E module\'s sophisticated control system ensures the output voltage and current are precisely maintained and regulated.
