The Z8F1680MM00KITG evaluation and demonstration board provides quick access to many of the features available in the Zilog Z8 microcontroller line. This evaluation board is designed to provide a user-friendly platform to evaluate the Z8F1680 microcontroller family with minimal external circuitry. The board can be used to develop and test a variety of embedded applications and to quickly start development of other Zilog Z8 microcontroller based designs.

The Z8F1680MM00KITG evaluation and demonstration board includes an on-board USB-IF compliant serial port, CAN bus interface, SPI communication channel, USB-IF compliant GPIO port, and a 2-channel logic analyzer. Additionally, the board includes a 32-bit timer/counter, 10-bit ADC, and Dual-Channel Digital to Analog Converter. The Z8F1680MM00KITG supports external power supplies up to 5V, and can be easily interfaced to external voltage levels using the on-board voltage level translate circuits.

The Z8F1680MM00KITG evaluation and demonstration board is an excellent platform for evaluating and developing Zilog Z8 microcontroller-based embedded systems.
