The ZL50011QCG1, built on a high voltage low noise platform, is a hybrid power transistor driver designed for applications that require high power output. The devices use an integrated power MOSFET gate driver, and can provide a peak gate drive current of 100mA. It is ideal for driving power MOSFET devices in applications such as wireless power transfer, uninterruptible power supplies, motor control and switched mode power supplies.The ZL50011QCG1 is a one-chip surface mount, automotive-grade transconductance MOSFET gate driver IC. It combines a low voltage power MOSFET driving circuit with a low noise, low input voltage CMOS logic circuit. The combination of these two elements results in a high-speed, low voltage, fast-switching driver capable of supplying up to 100mA peak gate drive current. The device also features low input voltage, low power dissipation, low distortion, and high noise immunity. The device features low input voltage of 0.55V and 0.75V in the power supply, and can operate over a wide range of battery voltages. The MOSFET gate driver is designed to drive both high side and low side N-Channel MOSFETs, with a rising and falling time of 1.2ns max. The device also has an optional charge pump start up circuit that can be used to boost the gate capacitor charges. The ZL50011QCG1 integrates many of the important functions a user would need for a power MOSFET gate driver IC, including thermal protection, and gain control for good thermal performance and efficient current. The integrated circuit transistors and components that form the circuitry of the ZL50011QCG1 are designed to provide reliable and stable operation over a wide range of continuous duty cycles and extended power applications.The second component of the ZL50011QCG1 is the CMOS logic circuit. This allows the user to control the device with an external logic signal. The chip features an input impedance of 8M-ohm with a low voltage CMOS logic input and an output impedance of 100M-ohm with a low voltage CMOS logic output. The ZL50011QCG1 is designed to provide optimum performance in applications that require constant and reliable power output with low levels of noise.
