The working principle of the ZL9101MAIRZ is based on the Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) technique. This technique is used to convert a high voltage DC (DC-DC converter) into a lower voltage DC. In this technique, the input voltage is modulated rapidly with a small frequency (High-Frequency Pulses). During this rapid pulse modulation process, the output voltage is kept constant by adjusting the pulse width making sure that the charge across the inductor is constant.
