A voltage reference is an electronic device, typically a semiconductor device, that produces a known constant voltage regardless of input voltage, current, temperature, age or other factors, making it an essential component in any regulated power supply. ZRC330A01STZ is a voltage reference PMIC developed by Zamioculcas Co., mainly used in telecommunication systems, industrial computers, infotainment electronics and battery-driven portable devices.
The ZRC330A01STZ has three voltage reference output channels that delivers stable output voltage with a minimum tolerance of 0.5%. This allows a more precise voltage control for analog and digital sensing and control applications. Differential voltage accuracy on each output channel is 30uV, and has a fixed output voltage range of 0.3V to 5V. The output current of each channel can be precisely controlled between 0.2mA to 0.6mA, which can supply up to 1.8mA collective output current from all the three channels.
The ZRC330A01STZ also boasts excellent temperature and aging compensation. Temperature coefficient of the output voltage remains in the range of ±20ppm/°C, and long-term output voltage deviation due to device aging is well below 5%. The ZRC330A01STZ operates over a broad input voltage range of 2.7 to 6V, enabling it to be used with a variety of voltage sources, and it has a low operating current of 125uA—one of the lowest in the market.
The ZRC330A01STZ is implemented in an 18-bump WLCSP(0.4x0.4mm2) package which is among the most compact packages available in the market. The small package and low operating current makes the ZRC330A01STZ suitable for designing advanced and cost-sensitive systems. It also features a power saving mode and quick start circuitry to conserve battery life in portable applications.
