The ZXLD1356DACTC is a smallest, lowest cost Ambioric® LED driver IC capable of driving up to 10 strings of nine LEDs in series that may be used to build up thin light-bar screens. It sports a 3 in 1 LED driver integrated circuit, capable of controlling LED panels with high precision and accuracy.

Application Field

The ZXLD1356DACTC is ahighly practical LED driver IC that is widely used in LED lighting applications. This device offers the user a wide range of features, such as large viewing angle, high color uniformity, low brightness roll off, wide dimming range, and wide voltage operation range. Additionally, due to its low cost and small package, it is suitable for applications requiring small size and low cost.Some applications that this LED driver IC may be used for are LED lighting, LED backlight, LED TV, LED sign boards, LED strip lights, LED accent lights, LED digital display, LED architectural lighting and LED spotlights.

Working Principle

The device utilizes a constant current driver, based on a Buck Converter, which allows precise output current regulation with a low ripple. In addition, it provides precise voltage-to-current conversion, voltage-to-PWM conversion, and temperature sensing, to ensure maximum LED efficiency and precise dimming control.The ZXLD1356DACTC operates in a constant frequency, fixed slope mode. When the voltage on the VSS pin drops below the threshold voltage, the internal oscillator starts, providing the necessary slope for the converter.The current sensing feedback loop senses the current and feedbacks the information to the Vref pin, allowing the current to be controlled precisely.The device also includes an active low enable pin, allowing the user to control when the LEDs are powered or not.
