Application

Working Principle
The ZXMS6004DN8–13 has two distinct modes of operation; open-drain switch mode and low on-resistance driver mode. In the open-drain switch mode, the internal switch connects the output directly to the input. This mode is used to control the flow of current between the power supply and load. In the low on-resistance driver mode, the internal switch is disabled and the device operates as a low on-resistance MOSFET with a low gate-charge. This mode is used to control the voltage across the load.
The device provides controlled switching of large currents, in both high and low side configurations. It helps to protect the load from overloads and overtemperature situations by means of the built-in over-temperature protection feature and shutdown protection feature.
