Jumper Wires

Working Principle of Jumper Wires

Working Principle of Pre-Crimped Leads

The working principle of pre-crimped leads is fairly straightforward. The metal contact of the lead is made from a copper alloy that has been pre-conditioned and gently crimped, creating a secure electrical connection between the two parts. The lead is then insulated with a tough urethane or polyvinyl material, which acts as a protective barrier between the copper alloy and the environment, preventing it from corroding and becoming susceptible to electrical interference.

Once the two leads are connected, current can flow through the leads and into the device or electrical system that it is connected to. As the current travels, it can cause electrical signals to be created and transmitted, and this is the basic principle behind all electrical systems.
