Working Principle

The AZH2221 snap action, limit switch is a mechanical device that senses the position of an object. It is used to detect when a machine part has reached a certain position. When the object being detected reaches the preset position, the switch activates and interrupts the electrical circuit to cut off the power supply to the machine part.

The AZH2221 limit switch comprises of a contact roller, a base and the contacts. When the contact roller is pushed by an object in a certain direction, it presses down on the base and the contacts that connect to the electrical circuit. This interrupt the electrical supply to the machine part and shuts it down.
