The PI49FCT805 is a low power, high-speed clock buffer used to extend or distribute clock signals in a wide variety of device and system applications. It is designed to be used in conjunction with FPGA, CPLD and ASIC devices, and is suitable for applications that demand minimal jitter and noise performance. It has a low power output stage, and its wide frequency range, plus a wide operating temperature range and low propagation delay, allow it to be used in a variety of high speed digital systems.

The PI49FCT805 is a highly integrated clock buffer that enables easier clock network design and greater flexibility for system level clock distribution. This device has an internal oscillator that generates the reference clock signal for the buffer. The oscillator generates a stable, low jitter clock signal. The oscillator can be programmed to output frequencies from 1MHz to 30MHz with 1%, 10KHz and 100KHz steps.
