The K8AB-PM2 is part of the Mitsubishi Electric series of hazardous area approved current/voltage relays. It is a monitor relay designed to detect voltage or current levels, once it is connected in series with the load. When a given voltage or current level is reached, the K8AB-PM2 will output a signal to an alarm or other external circuit.

The K8AB-PM2 is a programmable 2-pole monitor relay which allows the user to set the trip point. The trip point is adjustable from 0.2A to 25A and from 0.1V to 250V. The K8AB-PM2 is available in two different form factors, an uninsulated 10A version or an insulated 5A version. It uses a 24Vdc power supply and has a built-in monitor LED to indicate the relay status.
