Working Principle

The 0617004.MXP is composed of a metal shell, two terminals, an open circuit, a heat sensitive element, a heat insulating material, a contact support rod, a pressure contact spring, and a insulating cover. When the current exceeds its rated value, the heat generated by the heat sensitive element increases, which causes the contact support rod to bend, and the contact pressure spring is opened and disconnected, thus separating the circuit, so as to achieve the purpose of protecting the circuit.

When the short circuit is removed, the pressure contact spring will automatically reset. When the current drops to the set value, the pressure contact spring drives the contact support rod to return to its original position, and the two contacts will be reactivated to connect the circuit.
