OTLS020.TXLS is a voltage limiting fuse designed for use in AC and DC applications. It is capable of high current interrupting capability making it suitable for a variety of applications.

OTLS020.TXLS uses a multi-tap design where the primary energy transfer occurs at the lowest setting while the secondary energy transfer occurs at the highest setting.The fuse features two independent windings with a shared core. This allows the voltage and current rating to be changed by winding more turns through one winding at the highest rating, and less through the other at the lowest rating. This allows the fuse to be used in applications where a constant current is desired.

The fuse can be used on both AC and DC applications. It uses a split core construction allowing for either gradual or rapid opening of the fuse when the voltage and/or current exceeds the preset levels. The fuse is designed to trip and open when the voltage or current level reaches a certain predetermined level. Once the fuse opens, the circuit is immediately cut off, preventing any further damage or loss of life.

The fuse is designed to provide reliable protection against overvoltage and overcurrent conditions. It is UL recognized and CSA certified for AC and DC applications. It also meets the requirements of European standards for most common conductor materials. The interchangeable capabilities allow for a custom fit based on cable size and installation.
