Working Principle

The 0TLS090.TXL works on the principle of “time delay fuse”, which is based on the response time taken by the fuse link to open. The opening time varies with the value of the current running through the link. The current value is determined by the time that passes before the fuse opens.

To ensure reliable operation, the 0TLS090.TXL uses an insulated metal element, which acts as a high-performance voltage carrier. The element has a four-point wire connection, allowing two current paths, one in and one out, to be connected. This allows the fuse to handle increased current and be adapted to different current protection systems.
