101-1108 evaluation boards are used in embedded applications to satisfy the needs of microcontrollers (MCU’s), digital signal processors (DSP’s) and other SoC integrated solutions. This evaluation board is the latest and most versatile evaluationboard available from NXP Semiconductors for the study and implementation of MCU’s, DSP’s and other SoC integrated solutions. This board is equipped with features like a processor extension board, fast Ethernet port, LCD display, DVI connector, Bluetooth interface, I2C bus, RS-485, CAN and RS-232 interfaces. The evaluation board comes loaded with several useful and powerful components such as the Tiva C Series TM4C1290 microcontroller, an Ethernet chip, DVI connector, LCD panel, and a set of capacitors and resistors for discrete components.
The board also features an expandibility bus with GPIO ports, which allow for direct analog and digital interfaces. External devices can also be connected via an I/O bus that includes UART, I2C, SPI, CAN, USB and Ethernet. In addition, the 101-1108 evaluation board has two dual-channel analog-to-digital converters (ADCs) for accurate signal conversions.
