The 1523MLF is a family of programmable clock/timing generators, PLLs and frequency synthesizers designed especially for ASIC, ASSP and other systems. With up to 32KHz output, the 1523MLF is an ideal solution for generating and maintaining a stable and accurate clock for embedded or ASIC applications. The 1523MLF is a single-chip PLL (phase locked loop) with an integrated on-chip voltage controlled crystal oscillator (VCXO) and a DC voltage regulator circuit. The 1523MLF is designed to supply a highly regulated clock signal to ASIC and ASSP systems. The clock can be programmable to any of the range of 32KHz and above outputs. The device is capable of providing an output frequency resolution of 500Hz, allowing for precise timing control.

The 1523MLF includes an internal loop filter and has a variety of options for synthesizing output frequencies.
