Working Principle

This is achieved by using alternating current, typically delivered in a series of sine waves. As the current rises and falls, the inductor stores energy in the form of magnetic flux until the current reaches the same level it initially started at.

Due to its low cost and easy installation, the fixed inductor is becoming increasingly popular in many consumer and industrial applications. It is also widely used in radio frequency interference (RFI) filtering, power supply filtering, and various other EMI/RFI shielding applications.
