15KP220A-TP is a member of TVS – Diodes family. The term “TVS” stands for Transient Voltage Suppression diode, it is a special purpose diode used for providing protection from electrical transients, such as electrostatic discharge (ESD), electrical surges, and voltage spikes. The 15KP220A-TP is specially designed to provide over-voltage protection to data and signal lines; it helps to extend the product life and reduce down time caused by lightning, AC power surges or other electrical disturbances.
