174/12 Working Principle

The component housing is made of pure copper with gold plating on the surface. The insulating head of the wire ferrule is a polypropylene, which is able to withstand extreme temperatures and has high electrical insulation properties. When the wire ferrule is connected to the terminal block, the copper wire ferrule is first sliding into its insertion hole, with the insulating head inserted into the insulation slot for fastening. The copper side of the wire ferrule shall be placed at the bottom, and the lock wire shall be stretched outwards. After the line is tightened, the lock wire is twisted. Finally, the terminal block is tightened by the screw and the insulation head is inserted into the insulation slot, making a firm connection and preventing the wire from becoming loose.

When it comes to operating temperature, 174/12 wire ferrules can withstand temperatures ranging from -40℃ to +105℃. The maximum load voltage is 1000V, and the maximum current is 10A. The wire size is applicable for most 22 to 14 AWG solid/stranded wires. Furthermore, the standard size of the wire ferrule is from 2mm to 3.5mm, and the wire ferrule housing material is copper with gold-plated. As the product is UL approved, the wire ferrule can be used in all kinds of automatic machines, controls, instruments, and other applications which require reliable wire connection.
