The 17AC1-T is a single-pole, single-throw (SPST) switch which, when actuated, generates a momentary, positive or negative change in state. The switch is capable of switching up to 250 VAC, 10 amps, and is UL, CSA and CE rated.

The 17AC1-T uses a purposefully-designed switch element to reliably achieve repeatable operation. This switch element consists of a bias-spring that engages one or both of two protruding ramp surfaces. When a predetermined actuation force is applied, the ramp surface will push the switch element and open or close the switch contacts.

The 17AC1-T features an adjustable momentum actuation range and adjustable position for the switch element. This range allows for a consistent repeatable operation, as well as a superior life expectancy; the switch element can travel many millions of cycles, without degrading performance.
