Miniature terminal blocks are generally used for high-density applications and are designed to accommodate small cables and wires. They are also sometimes referred to as pinning blocks. Standard and industrial terminal blocks are larger than the miniature types and are designed to handle more power. They are also more durable than the other types of terminal blocks and therefore are suitable for more rugged applications. Terminal blocks also come with various mounting styles. Wall mounting is the most common method for mounting terminal blocks, but they can also be mounted using special brackets. In some cases, terminal blocks need to be specially modified for a particular application. Terminal blocks are an important component of many different electrical systems.
