1N6051A is a TVS diode designed to protect systems from electrical surges. These diodes act as a threshold activated switch, that is triggered when the voltage exceeds its clamping level. It is designed for high-ability, provider-order protection and having lower operational J and C values which decrease current consumption by almost sixty-five percent compared to standard lower operating voltage TVS. It works by shunting high energy away from protected lines and dissipating it into the ground. This type of diode can not only provide reliable protection to systems but also help reduce costs.

The 1N6051A is suitable for low-voltage applications, with its typical breakdown voltage ranging from the 6.6 Volts to 7.3 Volts.
