1XE8 Application Field and Working Principle

Working Principle

The 1XE8 switches are based on a snap-action spring mechanism which is designed to quickly open or close an electrical circuit when certain conditions are met. To detect these conditions, a number of mechanical components are used, including an alignment pin, a push button, and a contact arm.

When the alignment pin is moved to a certain position, the push button is triggered, forcing the contact arm to move. This movement causes the electrical contacts to open or close, creating a new circuit and thus providing the desired control.
