Gas Discharge Tube Arresters (GDT) is a device used to protect electronic equipment, cables and wires from lightning induced over-voltage, transient surges and power line surges. It typically consists of an insulated conductive element, a spark gap, and a small spark gap gas chamber. GDTs are designed to prevent voltage surges from entering the electrical system by providing a low resistance path for transient over-voltages.
The 2036-09-B2LF Application Field and Working Principle is a medium to high voltage Gas Discharge Tube (GDT) arrester designed for use in 600VAC/dc and greater systems.
