If it is valid, the HOLD pin will turn on the ICE and OCE pins and allow data to be written or read from the 24LC00/W. On the other hand, the I2C addressbus is made up of seven pins, namely SCL, SDA, SDA1, SCL1, CS0, CS1, and CS2. The addressbus is controlled by two lines, CS0 and CS1, while the data is transmitted by SDA and SCL. This addressbus is also used to set the address of the 24LC00/W, which will allow data to be read and write. When the 24LC00/W receives a valid start bit, it will enable the ICE and OCE pins to allow data to be written or read.
