24LC128-E/SN is a high performance, two-wire serial, Electrically Erasable Programmable Read-Only Memory (EEPROM). It stores up to 128K bits, and utilizes an industry standard 3-wire serial protocol. The 24LC128-E/SN can be operated in a variety of digital applications that require persistent storage and nonvolatile data.
The 24LC128-E/SN finds application in a variety of areas that require storage and/or retrieval of information such as digital audio, digital photography, telecommunications, medical devices and automotive systems. Most communications protocols involve serial transmission and reception, which is supported by the 24LC128-E/SN via the MUXPD serial protocol.
The main application areas of the 24LC128-E/SN are those that require non-volatile data storage, data logging, and error checking and correction. The 24LC128-E/SN allows for fast and easy data logging and remembers and records data even when the power is turned off and on again. This makes it particularly useful in communications systems and medical systems that require data logging and storage of patient data.
