Working Principle

The 26PCFFT6D operates by sensing changes in pressure as the diaphragm expands and contracts with changes in surrounding pressure. This is achieved by connecting an electrical impedance measure between the diaphragm and a reference source. As the diaphragm is forced to bend by changes in pressure, its internal electrical impedance changes. The electrical signal produced is then sent to an amplifier circuit, where it is amplified and used to measure the pressure.

The pressure range of the 26PCFFT6D is −1460 to +1460 mbar, and its response time is 2 milliseconds. It has a rating accuracy of ±0.1 percent FS (RMS). It is also resistant to temperatures, moisture and chemicals, making it suitable for use in many harsh conditions. The 26PCFFT6D requires just a few watts of power and is a cost-effective solution for pressure sensing applications.
