Circuit breakers are devices that protect electrical circuits from overloading. The thermal switch connects to the CT and checks for over-temperature in the circuit. When either overload or high temperature is detected, the thermal switch initiates the corresponding action, interrupting the circuit. The vacuum interrupter is the last element to complete the working principle. This element is triggered automatically in response to an excessive current, completing the circuit-breaking action.
The main applications of 2D5UL circuit breakers include the protection of commercial and industrial buildings, such as hotels, restaurants, office buildings, and warehouses. They are also suitable for outdoor applications, ensuring a safe and reliable distribution of power to outdoor equipment, such as air conditioning systems, motors, lighting controls, and pumps. The 2D5UL circuit breakers can also be used in power generation systems, such as nuclear power, hydroelectric power and wind power.
