The 2EZ17D2E3/TR12 is a single Zener diode designed for general purpose applications. Working Principle

The 2EZ17D2E3/ TR12 Zener diode is a semiconductor device that consists of two PN junction diodes connected in series in the opposite direction. When the diode is forward biased, current passes through the diode mostly as what is known as a “Zener current” (or reverse saturation current), but a small portion crosses the junction in the forward direction. Applications
