2ST31A is a single, small signal, PNP transistor designed for general purpose switching applications. It has a collector current rating of up to 1A, and maximum continuous collector power dissipation of 625mW. The 2ST31A is typically used in audio amplifiers, interface, logic and signal circuits. The 2ST31A is a bipolar junction transistor (BJT). BJT are three terminal electronic active devices, made of semiconductor materials.
