It is widely applied in the fields of PDA, Notebook PC, PC Card, digital still cameras, portable DVD players, CD players, and multi-media products. It is mainly used for the connection of low voltage and low current signals.

The 350829-1 rectanguar connector comes with mated 250 series crimp TAB contacts. They offer a reliable connection to a variety of PCBs such as FR4, aluminum, copper, and lead frames. It features a single-row design with snap-in mounting which is not available in other connectors.

This type of rectangular connector is equipped with both polarizing pegs and shielded shells. The polarizing pegs help keep the mated connector in the proper orientation.
