Incandescent Lamps

4009BPEGPL-10PK Application Field and Working Principle

The 4009BPEGPL-10PK is an incandescent/neon lamp combination that can be used in commercial and residential applications. This lamp contains 3,4W 2700k incandescent and 10mA neon tubes, both of which are powered by two separate circuits. The LED emitters and primaries supply a total of 4W of usable light.

The 4009BPEGPL-10PK lamp has an operating voltage of 9V to 14V AC/DC. It offers a 3000K colour temperature at a lumen rating of 200 (lm). The lamp features two on-board integrated drivers, both providing power to both the neon and the incandescent tube. The neon circuit is used for lighting the neon sign while the incandescent circuit provides general lighting.

When the lamp is turned on the neon tube is illuminated first, providing a combination of colour and brightness levels. The lamp then adjusts the brightness of the incandescent tube to compensate for the activation of the neon tube, providing the desired effect. This makes it perfect for commercial and residential applications providing both an energy efficient option and a unique aesthetic.

The 4009BPEGPL-10PK lamp has a life expectancy of 25,000 to 30,000 hours however, in order maintain its performance, the user may need to periodically clean and replace the contacts in the lamp as dust, oil, and dirt may effect its performance.
