This type of industrial optoisolator is a 6-pin device that is designed to offer optical isolation between low voltage TTL logic circuits and higher supply or load voltages. The 4N32W optoisolator offers good noise immunity and high speed operation and also provides high isolation voltage between the input and output.

The 4N32W optoisolator can be used in a variety of applications which includes temperature compensation, data, and telephone communications applications. It is also used in laser diode and light emitting diode control systems, product release systems, optical and infrared detection systems, safety systems, and computer control switching systems.
