Terminal Blocks - Barrier Blocks are designed for a variety of electrical applications, from motor controls to simple power distribution. With the 4PCR-06-008, specifically designed for applications in which a working voltage of 600Vac and/or 125Vdc is necessary, the application field and working principle can easily be understood.First, the 4PCR-06-008 is designed with a clamping yoke and a slice that securely grasps the wire in oscillatory movement. The clamping yoke is then composed of plastic insulated insulation plates that hold the wire firmly in place. The second portion of the terminal block is the barrier block itself. This block is designed with built-in strain relief for easy insertion and removal of the conductor. The 4PCR-06-008 is designed with a shield plate and two guide supports, each helping to further stabilize and protect the conductor.
