The 552G-02ILNT is a high-speed, low power, digital scannable buffer that provides true clock buffering and periodic stretching from a single input clock. It is intended for applications such as phase-locked loop (PLL), phase-locked loop synthesizer, phase-locked loop clock synthesizer, phase-jitter equalization, frequency synthesizer, clock and data recovery, clock distribution and clock multiplexing.

The 552G-02ILNT clock buffer typically operates at 6 to 8GHz (1.6 to 2.8V) supply voltage. It is designed as an advanced, programmable multichannel true clock buffer capable of delivering multiple copies of even high-speed clock signals from a single input clock signal. It is typically used in applications such as automatic test equipment (ATE), phase-locked loop (PLL), phase-locked loop synthesizer, phase-locked loop clock synthesizer, phase-jitter equalization, frequency synthesizer, clock and data recovery, clock distribution and clock multiplexing.

The 552G-02ILNT adopts a self-scannable architecture which can provide clock signal multiplexing, true buffering and periodic stretching. The scannable signal path can control when the clock buffer will be enabled, and which signal is selected. It can also control the input duty cycle and give an output signal with a duty cycle that is complementary to the input duty cycle. When the input signal is a 100MHz signal, the output duty cycle can be switched between 0% and 100%. This can facilitate frequency synthesizer or phase-locked loop implementations in circuits that require high-speed clock signals.

The 552G-02ILNT is available in a low-noise LFCSP package and is implemented with a low-power CMOS process. The low power feature makes the 552G-02ILNT an ideal choice for applications that require low power consumption, such as automatic test equipment (ATE) applications.
