The 59065-1-T-03-A magnetic sensor (module) is a position sensor which is designed to measure the rotational motion, position and angular velocity of an object in a fixed reference frame. It uses two planar magnetic sensors separated by a fixed distance in order to measure the magnetic fields generated by the object in motion. This magnetic field can be used to calculate the object’s position (angle and rotation), its angular velocity, and even its accelerations.

The amplified signal is then sent to the MEMs-type Hall-effect sensor, whose field effect transistors react to hidden or existing magnetic field generated by the object in motion. Once recognized, the sensor signals the angle and direction of the rotation of the object. The rotation data obtained from the sensor can then be used in a variety of applications and algorithms.
