The integrated FPGA provides the ability to design and integrate a wide range of software programmable logic including multiple versatile brush-less motor control and data acquisition channels; configurable ADC/DAC system for IIR/FIR filter design and reflow oven control; multi-channel DSP (Digital Signal Processor) for differential CPU or motor control; SPI/I2C Master and slave; Serial/Parallel communication ports; integrated Ethernet switch block; memory controller with up to 16GB DDR3 DRAM; an integrated ARM Cortex-M4 based 32-bit processor for application and service layer tasks; audio codec for SD/LPCM TV audio codec applications; video codec for 4K Ultra HD and multiple display technologies; and low-power power management system.In addition, the 5ASXFB5H4F40C4N SoC features a high-end power management system that enables system designers to reduce power consumption while increasing efficiency. This integrated power management system features dynamic voltage scaling, power conservation and multiple power saving modes to ensure the highest levels of system performance. The 5ASXFB5H4F40C4N SoC also includes an onboard digital filter with programmable filter cut-offs and band-pass filter switching enabling the use of environmental noise filtering for applications such as RF (Radio Frequency) noise detection. It provides for the design of high linearity differential amplifier for TV audio detection and line level signals, and it can be used to improve the SNR (Signal-to-noise ratio) of output signals from an amplifier.
