XCZU7CG-L1FFVF1517I Application Field and Working Principle The Xilinx Zynq UltraScale+ Series are SoC FPGAs with an ARM Dual Core Cortex-A9, quad-core Cortex-R5, and optional power and software acceleration, enabling a hardware and software platform for the development of high-performance embedded systems. The XCZU7CG-L1FFVF1517I is Xilinx’s latest SoC FPGA, which is specifically designed as ideal platform for low-power and/or wireless applications. The XCZU7CG-L1FFVF1517I offers a variety of features to alleviate some development challenges of prototyping and verification. With the help of integrated real-time trace logic and eXtreme Low Power (XLP) power islands, the device is able to reduce time to market when compared to traditional hardware designs. Additionally, the XCZU7CG-L1FFVF1517I’s MGTs, or multi-gigabit transceivers, offer high bandwidth efficiency, robust interoperability, and improved floating-point performance per Watt. This FPGA is ideal for applications that require tight integration of high-performance hardware, software and processing capabilities. Examples of such applications include harsh environment systems such as medical imaging, high-performance computing, industrial automation, smart grid, and aerospace & defense. The device is ulitilzed in a way that allows developers to not worry about the resources it has to offer.
