The outer layer stretch/heat shrink insulation adds a further layer of insulation and protection. As the terminal is closed an additional brass solder tag is added to provide a stable connection.

The 60322-2 terminal is designed for specific current ratings hence it is important that the right type of terminal is selected for specific requirements. The 5A terminal has a current rating of 5A. Higher current terminals, such as 16A and 25A come with extra features, such as a separate check-ring and a large extendable surface contact area, to better handle the higher current load.
