Trimmer Potentiometers

A trimmer potentiometer is a fractional turn, adjustable, three terminal resistive device, generally used to adjust circuit parameters. It provides a variable resistance over a fixed range of motion (usually less than 300 degrees). Trimmer potentiometers usually come in the following two types:

Single-turn Trimmer Potentiometers are adjustable from one full turn (360°). They provide variable resistor knobs that can be directly twisted from the top of the device.
