Working Principle
The 74AC11245NT consists of four differential line receivers with integrated 3.3V voltage regulators. The receiver can operate with a supply voltage in the VCC range of 3.0V–3.6V, and an AVCC of 2.0V–3.6V. If a VCC below VCCAV is applied,VCCAV should be connected to the Received side rail, to ensure that the mismatch between the receiver’s supply and AVCC is kept to minimum level.
The receiver has common mode input voltage range from 0.8V to VCC-0.2V, and a maximum data rate of 225 MHz. It has differential AC characteristic with reduced pulse distortion, wideband common mode rejection ratio and CDR. The transmitter has differential AC characteristic with reduced pulse distortion and CDR and wideband common mode rejection ratio.
A Low-power shutdown mode (LPST) is also included. When LPST pin is pulled to \'Low\' level, all four receiver circuits will be completely disabled. The transmitter is disabled by taking the Trans. Disable pin to \'Low\' level. The 3.3V regulator is still active in this mode and the control signals on the receiver enable pins are still being monitored.
Conclusion
The 74AC11245NT is a quadruple, differential line receiver with integrated 3.3V voltage regulator ideal for use in applications such as local area networks, broadband communication systems, Ethernet and general purpose applications. Its features include a low power dissipation, wide common mode and directional differential voltage ranges, low noise, good distortion characteristics and a wide open loop gain.
