The 74ACT240MTR is specially designed application field and working principle from Fairchild Semiconductor. It is focusing on offering a high speed, low-power substitute for bus-oriented MOS parts. The output will be active whenever the state of the corresponding input is “B” for one of the outputs and “A” for the other outputs. The output will remain active, regardless of the state of the clock signal, until the clear or reset signal is activated.
In addition to that, Re-configurable logic control can be implemented in this device depending on the needs of system designer. So overall it have a good flexibility when it comes to the operation process of the device.
Apart from that, this device usually drawing low current with a valid input. It means that this device can be operated in extreme temperature environment. In general, this device only require power supply of 5V and operate in a valid voltage range from 2V to 10V.
