74FCT245CTSOG, or “FCT245” as it is generally referred to, is an octal high-speed transceiver with non-inverting 3-state outputs manufactured by Texas Instruments. This component is part of Texas Instruments’ 74FCT line, which is a family of high performance low-power CMOS devices featuring a wide variety of logic functions and non-inverting three-state output buffers. All FCT245 devices operate from a single 2.5 V to 3.6 V power supply consuming medium to low power. The two data inputs, A and B, determine the outputs of the FCT245 when the DE input is high. When A is high and B is low, the output is low; when A is low and B is high, the output is high. When both A and B are low, the output is in a high impedance state. The outputs of the FCT245 are three-state, so when the output enable (OE) input is low, the outputs are disabled and the outputs are in a high impedance state.
