The lower frequency dividers consist of three stages and are programmable in 2, 4 and 8 divisions.The divider ratio of each stage is determined by the programmed input pin (F1 and F2). The output of the upper frequency divider is coupled with the reset pin (RES) of the lower frequency divider to control the input and output of the lower frequency divider.The reset pin of the upper frequency divider can be powered by an external reset pin ( RES1 and RES2) or internally generated by connecting the “RST” pin to a power source.
